Threshold

Threshold explores the moment of transition between what is known and what remains uncertain. The work emerged during a period of anxiety in which I experienced a confusion between real and imagined memories, making me question how perception shapes our experience of the past.

The figure is suspended at the threshold between holding on and letting go. Its falling position represents not failure, but the acceptance of uncertainty as part of change. Through the unstable position of the body, the work examines the fragility of memory and the need to release what can no longer be held onto in order to move forward.
