Threshold

Resin, 64x40x40 cm
2025

This sculpture captures the instant of transition in which the human being is suspended between the known and the uncertain. The “threshold” is not only a physical boundary but also a symbolic frontier: a territory where detachment becomes possibility. Here, the fall is not a failure but a gesture of acceptance of the void as part of transformation.
Conceived during a period marked by anxiety and the confusion between real and imagined memories, the work embodies the fragility of perception and the ephemeral nature of lived experience. In this passage, the artist turns his personal process into a universal reflection on the transitory condition of existence and the necessity of letting go in order to move forward.
